This prestigious international competition will take place in Bali from May 20-23, 2026, featuring extreme sports athletes performing daring dives from spectacular cliffs.
Why is Bali the Chosen Location?
Bali was selected as the venue for its combination of stunning natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage. The event will highlight two key locations:
- Kroya Waterfall in Buleleng, Bali – The opening rounds of the competition will be held here, surrounded by lush tropical scenery.
- T-Rex Cliff at Kelingking Beach, Nusa Penida – The final event will take place at this iconic cliffside, offering breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean.
Who Are the Key Athletes Competing?
The event will feature 24 elite cliff diving athletes from around the world. Notable participants include:
- Rhiannan Iffland – Seven-time world champion, who has dominated the series for years.
- Gary Hunt – Legendary diver with 80 podium finishes in 104 competitions.
- Constantin Popovici – The record-holder for the highest score in the competition.
These athletes will dive from heights of 27 meters (men) and 21 meters (women), performing acrobatic stunts at speeds reaching up to 85 km/h.
