On my first day of internship in early March, I stepped expectantly into Maverick’s office in Kebayoran Baru. I was given a tour of the three-story office and introduced to everyone, including Maca, the office cat and wrapped up the day with orientation sessions with several of the team leaders. Everything seemed to move so fast and efficient with the Mavericks, who seemed very serious about their work but would also not hesitate to let their hair down.
Tell me, what’s the best thing that could happen to an Intern? I know there might be endless scenarios out there, but for me, the answer is to actually join a company outing trip to Manila, the Philippines!
As one of the winners of The Recruit 2019, a prestigious marketing communication competition for university level, I was granted the opportunity to experience a two-month internship at Maverick.

The final round of The Recruit 2015 is finally over. It was memorable to us because for the first time in The Recruit history, we crowned two outstanding young inpiduals as the winners. It wasn’t an easy call especially because all 5 finalists were impressive and managed to cause enough dilemma for our panel of judges in coming up with a decision. However, after a careful consideration, observing their performance in that one day they spent with us, plus taking into account who amongst the five would benefit the most from learning from and at Maverick; the judges agreed that Heru Cakra and Khalda Larasati are the ones who left the most impression. The winner of last year’s The Recruit is Dendy Nugraha – a fresh graduate from Parahyangan University, Bandung. Majoring in International Relations, Dendy demonstrated impressive thinking quality on each challenge presented during the selection process. Dendy completed his internship term on February 5, 2013.
